GETTING TO THE HEART OF THE RACISM DEBATE
The key facts of the matter are this: It don’t matter if PSP is black or white. It’s still shit and hasn’t got any games.
The other key fact is this: Might (left) and would. 7.5/10

I guess we can safely say the ‘Politically Correct’ era is over!

Yes. The games for psp are garbage.
The ad isn’t racist so much as mystifying. What does it mean? I reckon it means that the ad folks who came up with the concept had snorted roughly 1 metric fuckload of coke and it seemed like an amazing idea at the time. Man. No really.

If you have a PSP Black, do you have to give up your seat on the bus to the owners of this new PSP?

That advert is an absolute fucking disgrace. I’ll wager it gets banned pretty quickly – and rightly so.

And so will the PSP… it’s a disgrace. it reminds me of the Ancien Regime.

What with Mega Man Powered Up’s Oil Man and the Mojya in Loco Roco, the PSP is rapidly becoming the portable console of choice for racists. Of course, I imported my white PSP from Japan months and months ago, proving that I’m a much more hardcore white supremacist than these new-adopter wannabes.

The PSP is only shit NOW.
Once Sonic Rivals come out, it will instantly, and by default, be the coolest thing EVER.
July 7th, 2006 on 2:56 pm
I don’t care for the ad.
Until shortly the PSP really didn’t have a decent game… NOW it has LocoRoco.

Everyone who thinks this is racist in any way ARE racists themselves.
If black and white people are supposed to be treated the same then why is everyone getting sand in their vagina when the black person is in a contrevarsial position.
Would anyone cared if it was Black over white? No.
So stop seeing black and white as un-equal.
When contacted about this campaign, Sony said, “We are just showing contrast of colours.” And what’s wrong with using humans with different colours, after all, we are all mature enough to be able to look at this ad and think nothing of it, right?

I love that photo. Does anyone know who the photographer is, and perhaps where I could find a decent hi-res version of it?

ante-nah – oh, thanks for clearing that up for us. I suppose the Ku Klux Klan aren’t racists then – but we’re racist for seeing them lynch black people. I see now!

Maybe I’m really fucking old, but I thought that billboard was a pic of Neal X from Sigue Sigue Sputnik…

well there’s no need to go that far. i can see why people would see it’s not racist as it’s an advert. i saw it as racist because for a start the white woman looks like she threatening the black woman and the tagline is like (i can’t remember exaclty) white is coming. so it’s sort of saying that white is coming to kick the shit out of black. if they hadn’t have used people in the ad it wouldn’t have been racist.
