EUROPE AT WAR: GAME RESORTS TO PS3 BRIBES
This isn’t a pre-order campaign – it’s a MASSACRE.
Sony has clearly manufactured a PS3 for every man, woman and child in Europe. Either that or NO ONE WANTS THE THING and its cumbersome 3D avatar system from 1998.

like those old transformers adventure books:
“you proceed to post a comment. if, while typing, one or more post comments before you, go to page 3. Otherwise, proceed to page 2”
page 2:
yeah first post, finally!
i have to commend sony for being the first company in a few years to actually have enough consoles ready to feed demand at launch. no shootings, no muggings, no ikea-inspired stampedes, no ridiculously inflated eBay prices…
page 3:
rats, beaten to the punch again!
“go to page 2”
word verification: qukehqik – a device to allow the use of the foot to activate the cooker.

what a prize. its the hated ps3 with a under performing screen displaying a game that has been canned. if this doesn’t say desperation from this retailer then nothing does.

Wait, there’s a cumbersome 3D avatar system from the 1990s? Isn’t that quite innovative for Sony? I might go and buy one now.

So wait… if I pre-order it… there’s a chance I won’t even have to pay for it AND I’ll get a free telly too?
And if I don’t win it for free… I can just give it back?
Gotta say… This “totally free console” is the first decent offer I’ve heard that PS3 associated with…
But of course there’s going to be enough consoles for everyone when you LIE about worldwide releases and then do stupid things like price it WAY too high and have no good games and scrap PS2 backwards compatability… Well done, SONY!
