THE FUNCTIONAL EMAIL: “Hi. Don’t know if you’ve had this before, but here’s a picture of a newsagent near Shoreditch that has the word SEGA in its name. Cheers, Andy”
Thanks, Andy. Thanks for saving us the LIVING HELL of going to Shoreditch and walking among the 1000s of art students with asymmetric hair and huge, ironic, white sunglasses and taking the photo ourselves.

“Child porn smuggler jailed” — when I was a child, the only job I could get was as a paperboy. “Porn smuggler” looks like a great career move for any youngster, even if I am bitter.
uhbhfht – a particularly relaxing act of flatulence

Funny comment there “halverde”. Sort of comment you’d expect from paul merton on HIGNFY.Lol !!
I’m guessing the shop is run by an italian named mario. In that case SEGA means “Wank off” in italian.
But its a quality find…I might have to check it out myself,I’m really curious now, on why its called SEGA.

You can just about tell, but look at the state of the buildings on each side, what a dump! It reminds me of those old closed down shops from Shenmue.

Man, I’ve been in that shop, I work just round the corner (where I have forced to go 2 days a week because the office my department is in is currently based there).
The areas is indeed hell, it’s full of art students, terrorists, crack whores, drug dealers and homeless people with mental problems (there is both a homeless shelter and needle clinic by the office). The area smells worse than most of the industrial zones in east london (including Silvertown).
If you want to live there it will cost you over quarter of a million for a decent flat (leasehold), yet it’s full of council house dossers who live their for 30 quid a week, and don’t do any work (let alone work in the city). All the council houses are the primary reason it’s so scummy and yet so expensive (because housing for normal people, who work for a living, is so limited).
I’d never noticed the name of the shop (I never go on the other side of the street). I’m such a nub.

Great story Friday. Have you ever won anything in that shop yet? Like a Saturn game that’s actually a Master System game? Does it loop the same music over and over?
July 4th, 2007 on 4:37 pm
No. :-( I don’t think I’ve ever noticed music, but I’ve never checked for little toy dispensers. I will though.
It’s odd in that it doesn’t appear to sell ‘newspapers’ other than a small number on the counter, just the usual crisps/sweets/pasta/bog roll.
Thinking about it… maybe it is like one of the shops in Shenmue… (although the one you come across was at least half decently stocked IIRC).
The last time I went in was to get Private Eye I think (I like to look at the pictures, plus they printed a letter of mine once). I hate ‘newsagents’ that don’t sell proper magazines or newspapers. Except in Shenmue, natch.

Their phone number is on the sign. Lets ring them and ask stupid Sega-related questions. Let’s all do it, constantly, and then take it too far, until we are forced to stop when the police get involved.

I cant believe this bullshit. I sent the exact same picture in like 6 months ago. What a pile of wank-stained cock munch. Fucking 0/10
