PLAYSTATION3 INSULT OF THE DAY!
Here’s today’s insult, European PS3 fans! The Japanese get a white one next month. And it costs 39,980 yen which is slightly over HALF the UK price. And there’s a white DualShock 3 coming out at the same time, which you’re not allowed to give Sony more money for until next spring.
If you’re good boys and girls, Sony might let you pay twice as much money for a worse version of this in seven or eight months time. Think of all the Folding@Home you’ll be able to play!

Yes shigeru has defected to Sony. It’s still under wraps but thanks to the newly-devised Console Person Exchange Program (CPEP), Kutaragi didn’t just step DOWN, he stepped SIDEWAYS.
Sideways into Nintendo, that is, where Reggie was waiting for him with some Virtual Boys and E45 cream.
At the same time, Shigeru Miyamoto stepped sideways into Sony to fix up their shizzle.
Shiggsy would never actually defect, so instead he tells them a white PS3 will surely trounce the Wii (which, coincidentally, is yet to be released in any other colour).
More to the point, how exactly do all these PS3s affect us lot? I haven’t got a PS3 (anymore), and I can’t see how ten variations of the PS3 being introduced is going to ruin my buying a PS3 later on down the line. You’d have to be the biggest twat alive if you read a blog like UKR and still get angry/confused. And if Sony confuses some grandmas, who gives a shit?
Just take solace in your Megadrive/Saturn/Dreamcast/Modded XBox with Megadrive roms

I didn’t realize there existed those this bitter about not being able to afford a PS3. Regardless, I prefer black, but hell if I know what Japanese tastes are.

Given that many of the people posting here will be doing so using PCs (with the odd fruit using a Mac), I somehow doubt that their stance has anything to do with “affordability”. No, it’s more to do with the fact that the PS3 is an Independence Day mothership sized lemon with no games and the continuing threat of knee-jerk price movements and model updates that do nothing but devalue the commitment of all existing owners and make the rest of us wonder if we too will be made to look like chumps the moment we buy one. By the way, I presume from the way you’ve spelt “realize” that you’re an American, and in which case you should know that your date format sucks.
