ELECTRONIC ARTS CANCELS PS3 DEVELOPMENT OF RED ALERT 3
Couldn’t give a toss about the game, or the idea of playing an RTS, or the idea of playing an RTS on a console, or the idea of playing an RTS on a console that’s a PlayStation3. But still.
It’s EA dumping PlayStation3. That’s AWESOME and means there’s one less game for morons to put on their little lists of “Games That Will Turn Things Around For PS3.”
DEAD. PlayStation3 is now officially the Dreamcast of this generation. In terms of developer support, that is. Not quality of games or unspoken feelings of attachment.

I think the PS3 is also like the Atari Jaguar of its generation, it has crap games and the hardware doesn’t live up to the claims of its manufacturers, just like the Jaguar.

As Steve Balmer might say it’s all about one thing… Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers Developers……. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

i still play with my Jag love Alien vs Pred but I dont think it is right saying the PS£ is the dreamcast of this generation as the dreamcast is fab (i still play on that too)and the PS£ is a expensive blue ray player

Actually, according to Ars Technica it’s a pretty darn solid (and comparably cheap) Blu-Ray player. Not matter how many spec changes there’ll be, the PS3 will always be able to adapt. According to Ars.
Anyway, it’s interesting to read that someone actually cares about the shovelware crap EA has been shoving up our arses for years, now. That’s one down, suckers ^^
Sure, I am a little disappointed, but since EA acquired Westwood the entire series has taken quite a few wrong turns.

Unfortunately, no matter how obvious it is to people that the PS3 isn’t the best console of this generation. They will still buy them, love them and continually rave on about how the PS3 is better because Sony add new features that the Xbox had two years ago.
Also I had a friend who went to Tokyo and visited the Sony building and he came back different. He loves Sony now days.

My mom actualy got me and my brother a pS3 last Chrastmas, and we didn’t even ask for one (although I was trying to get the PS2 repaired at the time, and my brother was considering buying one himself). It really isn’t anything special, and I don’t even care enough about high definition to try getting blue ray, but I’m getting Little Big Planet when it comes out for sure.

These comments are broken, I demand them to be replaced with comments that are of the usual standard.
Perhaps people could say postulate whether they ‘would’ or ‘wouldn’t’ the little electric boats?
June 9th, 2008 on 12:26 pm
Red boats – Wouldn’t
Blue boats – Wouldn’t
Lightning stuff – Oh go on then
June 9th, 2008 on 5:13 pm
I think all of those boats are a would, except for the top left one- I think it might be a trap.
gmjeef- Genetically modified beef

I can’t not correct my above misspelling of “Christmas” as “Chrastmas”. The capitalisation error I can live with.

Following up a spelling mistake with a double negative doesn’t particularily help you out there.
I am amazed to find some Pissy 3 owners on UKR who are being extremely calm though. By now I would of expected a couple of self-righteous comments that attempt to find good in this generation’s Dreamcast only to spoil it all by sticking something along the lines of ‘Fucktard’ at the end, thereby rendering the whole comment useless.

What’s sad is that, UNLIKE THE XBOX 360, they could have easily added mouse & keyboard support.
