The BBC is doing a quiz about old computers here. It features an appearance by the Saturn, which the BBC erroneously suggests was not successful.
This is not why we don’t pay our license fee.
The way we remember it, Saturn was a SMASH – it’s just unfortunate that the internet wasn’t around at the time to record its many victories in 1995, when, for a few months, it was the best-selling 32-bit console of all. And we’re only on 5/10 because we were rushing.

A more pertinent question is why, at the end of quiz scores, does SUPER SODDING MARIO represent scores from 8-10 while Outrun represents scores from 4-7. Fucking BBC, I hope some young Islamic fundamentalist on a sugar rush pays them a visit.

Yo-Yo is the best character in the game if you want to get a “Jet” rating on every level, his graffiti skills are only beaten by Goji, but Goji is shit to control and has practically no health.

Yer! The Dreamcast killed the Saturn. And the Wii is a proper games machine, not just a different fitness aid for housewifes to hide under the stairs with the other Roll-away-flab-tummy-tucker machines under the vain delusion that they’re doing something to get rid of their fat arses. Where does it say the Saturn was unsuccessful? All it says is that the Saturn failed to conquer the bigger competitors, which is true.
