INTERNAL SEGA COMMUNICATIONS – SOUL CALIBUR PANTS-COLOUR CHEAT CONFUSION MADE GOOD
This one is a gem, a serious facsimile conversation regarding the changing of the colours of the underpants of the female characters in the Dreamcast version of Soul Calibur.
It brings back happy memories of spending hours and hours trying to adapt SEGA arcade game cheats to Saturn conversions by guessing the button combinations.
“Here’s an update for you. A fax sent to SEGA Europe to inform it of a serious mistake that had been made and would have caused misery to many Dreamcast owners if it was not corrected.”
“The serious tone of the covering sheet sets up the 2nd page wonderfully.”
“I have deleted the recipient’s name for privacy, but it’s a genuine fax” – Chris.

The Secret “K” Button Society breathes a heavy sigh of relief because… well… I think I’ve said too much.

I can change the colour of my underpants without pressing any buttons at all.

I quite like the white panties, ‘button’ the other hand I like panties no matter what colour they are!*
*this includes yellow/brown

Sadly, the fax neglects to advise hot line operators how to deal with the far more common question “how do I remove the panties of the female characters in SoulCalibur?”.

This is the best update ever.

Chris has deleted the recipient’s name for privacy reasons.
Julia Roach will be very pleased.

Holy shit. This is the best post.

Best update in years. People need to email this stuff in more often. The DreamCast logo joke got so old it got funny, and then got unfunny again.
January 7th, 2009 on 10:07 pm
How does anyone get their hands on this stuff?
January 7th, 2009 on 10:29 pm
I sleep soundly at night just knowing that people out there follow up on serious shit like this.
Namco – what a pathetic shower.
…And what about all the magazines which gave this game 10 out of 10 reviews. I bet their authors feel a bit stupid now. 10/10 for a flawed piece of software. pah.
Hip Hop Dreadlocked Sonic only blows his wad to (X + Y) light blue knickers.

Wasn’t this feature only available in the Japanese version anyway?

I'll make some more fake faxes next week & send them in – any suggestions? It beats Sony & swirl updates.

It’s about time that a Soulcaliber type game has full nudity. If it was a decent game AND featured character nudity I’d buy it, everyone I know would buy it, it’d sell like hot cakes. Changing the colour of pants just doesn’t cut it. I understand that Namco might not want to back such a project, but they could make LOADS selling the engine…
WE ARE GROWN UPS, WHY WON’T THE INDUSTRY GIVE US THE NAKED FIGHTING GAMES THAT WE WANT?
Hang on…
