Now, I’m in no way defending Sony, or saying that they wouldn’t prefer to give you cancer. They were probably using F@H as a marketing ploy to make the PS3 the ‘industry leader’ in medical research, thereby increasing their public image.
And if the F@H project does find a cure for cancer, Sony will be sure to shout about it. “PS3, the console that cured cancer!*”

Anyone stop to think how chavy the Megadrive was? It was the PlaySation of its day marketed as an “oi you, wanker, come play some fuckin’ real games you piece of shit” console.
Well, okay, perhaps not chav. More fascist boot boy. And Sonic was the ultimate symbol of fake commercial “Radikal dude!” marketing. Though it wasn’t so horribly apparent in the games themselves. He tapped his foot impatiently in a way Mario wouldn’t dream of doing.

We had a Virtua Tennis story last week which mysteriously disappeared. Zorg seemed to have the inside track with Sumo when Sega Superstars Tennis was coming out so maybe they asked him to take the story down because they weren’t ready to announce it. Perhaps in return UK:R will get an early look at the game or some exclusive in-game Ana Ivanovic pictures…
