THERE AIN’T NO PARTY LIKE A SONIC-THEMED DISCOUNTED GOODS PARTY
Found by a “Leo” who said it was in some sort of $1 shop. Even though they’re clearly marked $2.90. We are not interested enough to seek clarification regarding the actual price.

Brace yourselves. We’ve got FIVE photos of these to get through. You might want to go and make yourself an EXTREMELY STRONG cup of instant coffee.
Leo tells a story with these pictures.
The story is… “I SAW THEM AND GRADUALLY GOT NEARER TO THEM.”
The end of the story is that he got very close to them, but didn’t bother buying them.
But he did get very near them. Getting near them is fine. It’s like getting near enough to a woman to smell their moisturiser. The memory can sustain you for months.

I wonder if there’s another set of photos, on another site somewhere, that zooms in on the Godzilla branded packed of shite next to the SONIC awesomeness?
Maybe in a parallel universe somewhere. I wonder if all the readers are as miserable as I am?
I hope so.

I bet there is. And loads of miserable comment leavers saying that Godzilla’s been shit ever since he SOLD OUT and went to Hollywood.

I wouldn’t buy them, I would only go as high as $2.899

Yes, the .900 does seem to be redundantly accurate. Price decimals are rounded to the nearest hundredth as there are no smaller coins.
I miss the ha’penny. £2.905.

I thought a blowout was a shit.
February 17th, 2009 on 5:23 pm
Close inspection of the largest picture suggests that is the last set of Sonic Blowouts in the shop.
If only there were a finite number of 3D Sonic blowouts to come from Sonic Team…

Will there be girls at this Sonic-themed party?
And by girls I don’t mean Zorg in his Cream outfit.
February 17th, 2009 on 7:23 pm
I’ll be there. I not a girl though. And I won’t actually be there.
February 17th, 2009 on 7:57 pm
$2.900

The dollar is doing so well that they had to introduce half cents!
However they forgot to actually make any.

Maybe the shop was using a more “continental” number separator where the comma and point are the other way around, and that piece of sonic tat is actually a rare collectors item priced at $2,900.
February 17th, 2009 on 11:40 pm
Actually, it’s colombian pesos,
$2,900 Colombia Pesos = $1.13 United States Dollars

Well, that’s certainly solved the least interesting mystery ever conceived by humanity.
I’m going to go and have a blowout to celebrate.

This packet is short (at least two) blowouts!
Obviously C.A. Reed can’t keep up with the rate Sega are releasing them so they’re forced to discount their outdated stock in $1 shops.

There are definitely eight ‘blowouts’ in there… look at the top of the package, you can see the tops of the other four.
They are great for flinging Wotsits, Cheetos or similar at unruly blowout guests.

Sonic 3D Blast, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Rivals, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Rivals 2, Knuckles’ Chaotix, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Shuffle, Sonic the Hedgehog (Xbox 360). That’s 10 blowouts right there yet they’re claiming only 8. The packet is definitely short. By the time Sonic the Black Knight (with his Shoulder Pads of Doom) comes out it’ll be short one more.
