ADVERTISING AGENCY AGREES THAT PLAYSTATION3 CAN CAUSE EARLY DEATH
Complaints DENIED! The government may continue to tell the people of the UK that they are RISKING DEATH whenever they touch a PS3 controller.
Facts here. We’re more about exclamation marks and capital letters than facts.

I have enough facts in my real life. I don’t appreciate being made aware of any additional ones when I visit UK:R.

The visual generation bring it on themselves. The advertising agency behind this are right when they say that the advert in its entirety does not implicate computer games as the sole culprit, although the images taken as a standalone object would suggest so. People rely too heavily on extracting information from images, and if nobody can be fucked to read then it’s their fault if they take offence.

This is like ACTUAL NEWS. Bizarre.

But look, weatherbox! He’s holding a PS3 controller! Look!
March 19th, 2009 on 3:50 pm
@Gonuts – What did Weatherbox say? I can’t be arsed to read all that.
@Weatherbox – Can you turn that into an easier to understand picture instead please?

Nothing’ll beat the PS3 controller, obviously, but that image is still up for some incredibly inappropriate photoshopping.

I was wrong. It was “tediasmo”, which is a fucking awesome word.
March 19th, 2009 on 4:40 pm
And then it was “hothho”, which is what Han Solo called Princess Leia at the start of Empire Strikes Back.

I like what one of the comments in the link says, that reading a book is JUST as inactive as games but no-one would worry about kids reading too much.
The reputation of gamers as sedentary, fat, socially maladjusted and lazy isn’t going to go away any time soon. Not until we can hire more glamorous “babe” reps such as Emily Bouff and that IGN.com “Chobot” woman to go on TV and pretend otherwise.

I was just looking at the archives. I shed a tear at the innocent Saturn reviews. What a cruel world to turn Zorg into the bitter and twisted MONSTER he is today. :(
He even used to use the word ‘cool’ in a non ironic fashion. Oh, it’s too terrible for words. Oooooh! *Dickensian type wailing*

Hello, I live with weatherbox. I just wanted to make it known that he only brushes his teeth once a day because ‘the man’ tells you to brush them twice.
There’s an article about this in Private Eye
March 20th, 2009 on 12:59 pm
Fuck off Biffa Bacon you Viz/Private Eye reading cunt! He doesn’t live with me and is clearly some from of perverted fantasist with a tiny penis.

March 20th, 2009 on 3:31 pm
Wow, someone’s touchy when it comes to dental hygiene.
Personally, I like to brush my teeth at random intervals – not with a penis though.
I thought it was important to mention that.

JoeMDesign, is “chobot” her name? I thought it was the model designation; clearly, the chobot is far superior to its predecessors, the ahobot and the bhobot.
March 23rd, 2009 on 3:03 pm
A ho bot would be awesome.
