DREAMCAST IS 30
It will be just as strong and virile then as it was in 1998, as it is now, and as it always will be. Like the trunk of a mighty oak, the passing of another year will only serve to strengthen and reinforce the legacy of Dreamcast.
“Thought you might be interested in this 30th Dreamcast Birthday card. SEGA must have printed these up in advance because it must’ve thought Dreamcast would be popular enough to make it to its 30th Birthday. Let’s face it should have been, maybe I’ll leave mine under my telly for 30 years so kids in the future can call it a Playstation and then get a slap. Obviously this one was intended for distribution in Europe as it has blue swirls. Regards” – Barry.

I suppose I should make it official that no one’s going to get their accounts binned for saying the updates are just as shit as they have been over the last [TIME PERIOD].
And there’s now a ‘preview’ field below the comment, for that man who asked. It’s like watching someone else typing.

Dreamcast: 30 years and it will still be going strong.
PS3: 10 years if it’s lucky.

Holy Spirals! Thanks fuck for that, I was wondering when things would ‘get spiral on my ass’ once again. Happy mid (passably mobile) life, Dreamcast!
Fun Birthday Fact: If you were to unravel the Dreamcast Spiral so that it was a completely straight, it would be exactly 14.5″, the precise length of Richard Jacques’ cock.

Swirl update – should’ve been a bit earlier in the week so we were given something comforting and familiar to get us over the shock of the change.

Oh yeah, and what’s 30 in console years? Isn’t it about 3,000,000, based on today’s attention spans and respect for old things?

Testes testes 1 2 3
Coo, blimey, the preview field does work n’all.
There’s swish.
Yes, I was that ‘man who asked’.

The 30th anniversary is the Pearl anniversary. I’m gonna go glue some pearls to my VMU.

The updates lately are fine – well, except for this one – but surely we all miss Employee of the Week. Where am I supposed to find pictures of attractive women on the internet now?

@anne packrat:
How about giving your Dreamcast a pearl necklace?

@Weatherbox
Unfortunately, I don’t have Rez. -_-

Love the new register and login system – Normally I just couldn’t be arsed to setup an account, all this email password lark – but the misses just shit the bed, so
I’m in singleton bliss on the sofa tonight with the net and a bag of cheese – till she wakes up and sorts it out. So I took the time to register – and fuck me was it worth it!! A card with some spirals and the number 30 on it , Zorg = u’ve outdone yourself son – it doesnt get any better that this!!
June 25th, 2009 on 8:15 pm
Zorg, why the fuck can’t I logout?
June 25th, 2009 on 8:56 pm
Works for me. You did notice the “logout” link on the bottom of the right-hand column, yes?
June 25th, 2009 on 10:09 pm
How long has “THIS IS HOW IT ALWAYS ENDS” been down there at the bottom of the page? I’ve only just noticed it now.
June 26th, 2009 on 2:04 am
Erm…no. Just the one in the left-hand column. Didn’t try the right-hand one which works *cough* just fine. It IS pretty inconspicuous though – perhaps some kind of flashing marquee text?

I don’t know why one works but the other doesn’t. Using WordPress is like taking over the helm of the Enterprise after riding a bicycle for five years.
I’ll have another go later. Wish Wesley was here. He’d know what php file to edit.

And you could have sex with his mother while he was doing it. Possibly with Deanna looking on empathetically, and Commander Riker laughing in the background.
