Nothing makes me happier to think that an entire division of cooler-than-thou corporate empty vessels could soon be jobless for failing almost completely to understand where gaming is going.
And so soon after monumental success with the PS2. What did they do, fire everyone with talent? Does Stalin work at Sony now?

I feel compelled to sacrilege, sorry.
I kow they’re the Great Enemy, and shitheads and all, but I feel warm and fuzzy towards the PS3 when compared to the fucking Wii.
Crash; Where gaming is going is waving your arms about while something like 1987 Atari 2600 bowling happens on the screen. And your Mum can beat you at it 50% of the time; not due to any skill but because of how knuckle bitingly random it all is. I’m quite grateful that someone, somewhere is manfully failing to understand this.
I hate shooting prostitutes and minutely searching brown corridors as much as the next man, but at least it’s recognisably related to games that I’ve known and loved. Or known, at least. The PS3 is going down because of the Wii, and I can’t find it in me to be happy about that. Oh woe and Alas!

Yeah I agree; as crap as Sony are, at least they haven’t ‘sold out’ like Nintendo have with the Wii. I have a Wii and the last game I played was Resident Evil 4. If it wasn’t for some of the upcoming franchise releases (Galaxy 2, Metroid M etc), it’d be going on ebay.

360 is still pretty normal, cheap and a lot more reliable these days.
It won this console generation – the Wii is just a Fisher Price toy in a Japanese suit.
I want Madworld on 360.

Those Nintendo bastards and their little unmanly Wiis! They’ve destroyed everything I love!! Games consoles are no longer cool digital lifestyle choices for the tech-savvy. Small children, Mums, Dads and even Grandparents are muscling in. It was just about tolerable having to meet with these chumps at xmas when I had the excuse to bugger off to a dark room and pretend I was in space or Middle Earth and stuff. Now I have to join in and swing a dildo at Gradmand and look uncool. Plus there’s no skill in waggling compared to pressing a button. Can’t even beat the chumps now! Nintendo, the wankers, they’ve made games for people not like me! … etc … etc … ad infinitum …

If that hateful little thing wasn’t around, Sony would STILL be losing to the 360 because it’s FUN and full of great cheap downloadable content, Easily the more faithful successor to the PS2.
But no, Sony are more ironically hip than to offer fun on a gaming console. Try Home, it’s awesome, if by awesome you mean like reality with more rape.
