SONY’S PSP FUN BUS ARRIVES AMID CHAOTIC CROWD SCENES
A man walked past it and looked at it. He may be thinking about going in to see if there’s any free bags or t-shirts. We’ll never know*. This is the most public attention the PSP software line up has had in three years. Welcome to the misery that is the Summer of PSP.
More photos of the HEAVING CROWDS are available at Sony’s Flickr page. Some of the photos have more people in them, although some of the people are just using the free chairs for a nice sit down. Via VG247.
*He’s probably one of the organisers and this was taken while he was setting up for the day. We have to be a bit fair about things occasionally.

My, they all look so thrilled to be there don’t they?
And what’s with the highest resolution being 409 x 307?
Is that the best a psp can manage? (He says, assuming a psp has a camera of some sort (but then, maybe if it doesn’t have a camera, 409 x 307 is the highest res a psp screen can display?))
My practically-antique nokia 6230 can do better than that…

Considering they’re at Warwick Castle the punters will all be school kids, who will have the choice between PSPs or going into the torture chambers under the castle. I know which I’d choose. But then I quite like nipple clamps.

If you look at the camera info on Flickr you can see that this collection of photos was taken using three different Sony cameras,
http://www.flickr.com/cameras/sony/dsc-w110/
http://www.flickr.com/cameras/sony/dsc-p200/
http://www.flickr.com/cameras/sony/dsc-t77/
This could either be due to their being three seperate people tasked with taking photos of the event – none of whom appear to have been able to successfully focus the cameras on their subjects. Or it could suggest that at least two of the cameras either ran out of battery or broke down on the day.

I think I’d have more fun being eaten by a werewolf

I think I’d have more fun playing a game featuring a Werehog.

How is this bus supposed to make up for the lack of any reason for the PSP to exist? The only thing is does that isn’t done infinitely better by a massive variety of devices is play exclusive games. And out of those only a handful are worth looking at.
It is a shite picture viewer because it is slow and fiddly (you need 2 hands to rotate and scale pictures, thus breaking the wank flow), it is a shite movie player because it only accepts PSP specific file types which no one is in the least fucking bothered with, it is a shite mp3 player because it is so big and clunky and you have to put it into LOCKED mode to stop it from changing track/turning off in your larger than standard pocket and working out where to put music files is a trial in itself, it won’t even accept folders within folders. It is a totally fucking useless piece of shit.
It wasn’t designed with using it in mind. Just shat out by some cunt. The new redesigned one does fuck all to remedy most of these problems. Who the hell is making this crap because they should be fired.

A typical co-option of counterculture by the marketing department of a big corporation. If it really were a “Summer of Love” they’d dole out trips from a big bucket of LSD and have hippie fluffers take care of you while you decided not to buy a PSP. Just because LSD and prostitution are illegal is no excuse. Count me out thank you Mr. Sony.

After being filled with rubbernecking spectators enticed in with LIES, the bus absconds to a ‘reformation camp’, its’ inhabitants after having undergone the Sony equivalent of waterboarding (playing PS3 for 24 hours solid) return to society irrevocably altered, commonly posting Youtube videos about how the new GT will ‘rock your socks off’ and ‘looks badass’.

Q: What happens when you pick up your PSP?
A: Your chair with the wobbly leg falls over.

I bought a PSP years ago.
Can’t play now because its so heavy my wrists start to give out after a few minutes. Any ideas for exercises to build up my wrist muscles?
