FORKLIFT SUMMON SPECIAL MOVE!
It would appear that today’s video games are indeed being developed based on what people vote for in Facebook polls. Look at this. It’s Ryo in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.
Oh no, hang on, it was Twitter. 12 people Tweeted that this is what they wanted to buy. Then another seven people said wouldn’t it be good if the forklift magically appeared out of the sky.
So that’s what happens now. Sadly, when the charts come out early next year, we’d imagine THE PEOPLE will have decided that what they really want is more FIFA still.
The PEOPLE are STUPID. So put FIFA in it. Have Wembley Stadium turn up, riding a big horse and dropping lumps of turf on Dr Eggman.

Nice. Where are the polls for which games should SEGA make next? And can we vote for any other LEGENDARY SEGA franchises to be involved in this?! ADD THE DAYTONA STOCK CAR IN THIS GAME. special move would involve huge speakers emerging from the car belting out ‘ROLLLLIIINNNGGG SSSTTTAAARRRTTTTT!!!’ with the sheer force of the sound waves pushing the other racers out of the way. DO IT.

Now I see why Ryo’s been kept on ice for eight years. We’ve been complaining for no reason!

Oh great. ANOTHER clip/pic with the Heroes-style GHZ level. Please tell sumo are actually making more tracks? Preferably a circuit that loops around and through Ryo’s house.

Shenmue track would be my dream come true. They have to now they added Ryo. I’ve got tears in my eyes already thinking about powersliding past Tomato Convenience and Tom’s Hot Dog, brief section of motorway then the docs.

We’ll be showing some more levels shortly, don’t panic, there’s more than just the Seaside Hill one :P

DON’T MESS WITH MY DREAMS

As you’re no doubt fully open to any suggestions, S0L, may I suggest including Iwao in a coffin-mobile? Too soon?

Actually, if Sumo could just make Shenmue III an unlockable in the game I would be most grateful (only in the Xbox version though).

A 2D scrolling platform Shenmue III for XBLA might work. I’ll get some mock-ups together and send them off to PopCap Games. They should be able to get something playable in a couple of weeks.

If S0L IS taking suggestions, then surely the most obvious one next is Segata Sanshiro. Mode of transport should be as seen at 0.17 in this video.

Blimey CyberRazorMike, and I thought the 360 in post http://www.ukresistance.co.uk/2009/10/sky-sports-presenter-georgie-thompson/ was a little large…
Is this a whole new section of posts that could be exploited Zorg? Oversized consoles?

Yay! Another racing game in which massive anti-aliasing is passed off as ‘speed blurring’. This is the best integration of software limitation since the fog in Silent Hill.

They can’t do a track in Ryo’s setting it would be a disadvantage for him because he would inevitably stop to “look for sailors”
