DREAMCAST AND MEGA DRIVE CONTROLLER CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATIONS
The man who makes them says he’s struggling to meet demand, so this has probably already been on Kotaku for the last 72 hours.
But just in case it hasn’t. Sent in by “GigerPunk” who really ought to get a blog of his own rather than writing the UKR/Extra-Last network all by himself.

No Saturn controller yet three Nintendo ones? Pah!

I reckon GigerPunk is probably happy to let you get on with handling the serious men, legal threats, Pudsey updates etc, Zorg. He sees himself as the Creative Director, you as the combined HR/IT/Admin department.

I have a blog, I just can’t be arsed to update it myself.
Last updated September 14th, 2008 in fact.
This is much less effort and more fun.
I find something I find interesting, I send it to you, you decide if anyone else would find it amusing or if it’s just me, then you do all the tricky stuff. Plus, some people actually read it which then means I feel like I’m actually contributing to something worthwhile than just wasting my time pissing in the wind, as it were.
I get to make a contribution to something (rather than to society), you get (2nd-hand) content. Win/Win, surely?
Thought plenty of other people had been sending stuff in lately but do tell me if I’m sending too much stuff and I should take a break before you take out a restraining order against me, wouldn’t want to turn into Swill Man V2.0

Nice. I’m especially impressed that he’s put a sheen on the Wii and N64 controllers to serve as an attachment for the buttons.

Happy Sonic Twosday Everyone!

The sheen is indeed inspired. I thought they were made of glass at first.

There are two Sega controllers on there and only one Xbox and one PlayStation. Despite what ‘we’ (the ones in denial) think, the Saturn control pad isn’t exactly a well known classic.
I usually only reserve this higher plane of thinking for more respectable websites.

I wonder if that controller is for a PlayStation, PS2, PS3, or the prototype for the PS4.

Actually, the Saturn pad is still regarded as one of the best ‘2D’/Fighter/Shooter pads around. They didn’t create an entire batch of Saturn PC USB pads for nothing you know.

You mean the Japanese/second version of the pad, right? The first western Saturn pad was a piece of creaky dog shit.

Naturally.
