“SONY THE HEDGEHOG PRESENTS CHARTBUSTERS ’93”
This just in from our NIGHTMARE ALTERNATE REALITY correspondent. The man selling it claims it’s a “Collectable promo version” which hints at this being a legitimate licensed SEGA/Sony Music production.
There are still five days left on the auction at time of typing, if you want to risk finding out.
“I’m not sure you’re receiving my emails. Either that or you’re ignoring them? Nevertheless, here’s another find for you to upload on a slow day” – Phorenzik.
That’s the tracklisting. Click on it to remind yourself how bad music was in 1993.

Living Colour? Spin doctors?
Bloody hell, it’s like all the crap nightclubs I experienced in my first year at Uni.
Before discovering the one ‘decent’ club that had The The and New Model Army…
Following Rage against the machine with Sonny & Cher is a brave move though. Either that or idiotic. Or just plain proof the whole tracklist was puit together completely at random.

Actually, more importantly, do we know if Sonic was willingly collaborating with the enemy at this point, was being forced into it or the Sonic pictured with an S on his chest is an imposter of some kind??

Bet Sony really miss the days when they had products that were chartbusters instead of bankrupters.

Maybe we’re looking at this wrong – perhaps there’s an accounting loophole where if Sony lose enough money, suddenly it all inverts and they become insanely rich?
That’s the only reason I can see for their current commercial act of seppuku…

Doesn’t actually say Sonic on the cd cover though, does it? It says Sony which makes me think the S on his chest is Sony’s attempt to avoid having their arses sued off them for copyright infringement by Sega.
Do Sega know about this? Someone should let their lawyers know, this could be just the coup they need to hang Sony out to dry, take over and be able to release the Dreamcast 2…

1993 was one of the best years for music ever. given any “best of record” for any year in the 80’s 90’s or 2000’s you’re obviously going to get a lot of crap since they are trying to please everyone. granted, this cd has ll cool j and rage, and those are about the only songs worth listening to
