THE WORLD’S MOST APPROPRIATE IMAGE
The only thing that could improve this photo it if there was a stack of SEGA Saturn Magazines and some unrecognisable CD-Rs poking out of the top of the bin.
“I saw this on the side of a bin in Shoreditch, London. Free advertising for the SEGA news shop there, or signs of a resurgence of the brand amongst the fashionable youth of today? I’d say ‘sorry for the photo quality’, but I won’t – was taken with my lovely HTC Hero phone” – Andy.
ABOUT ANDY’S HTC HERO
Sadly outdated a mere eight months after launch and lumbered with Android 1.5. You can’t pull the wool over our eyes, Andy.

HTC = High Tech Crap
And “THE WORLD’S MOST APPROPRIATE IMAGE” would be Phil Harrison blowing goat, obviously.

I thought I was over London but this has just brought it all back.
I’m not sure if I’m seeing eyes or moustaches on the middle bin. But the bin on the left definitely appears to be some sort of robot frog poking it’s tongue out.

lol, anyone else find it kind of silly that people are tagging “SEGA” all over the place?
You would think they’d be spraying their secret little gang names all over the place. If I was a vile gutter snipe degenerate that spent his time vandalizing public property I would definitely invent a cooler name then just spraying the name of my favorite video game company.

Some little ruffian has sprayed “SEGA” at Kew Bridge station as well, wonder if it’s the same degenerate?

I hate to bring serious comments to UK:R, but Engadget is reporting today that the Hero will see Android 2.1 in June.

Maybe it’s viral marketing. Anyone seen Zipatoni in a while? Maybe it’s them doing it – they do like to be urban and appeal to DA YOOF.
On a lighter note, I have a new game out. It has blue skies in it and you get a little sound every time you collect something. It’s also midget-pulverizingly hard in places. It is here – http://bedroomcoder.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/daveawesome2.png?w=450&h=353
Let me know what you make of it. I am moving away from remaking other people’s stuff to making my own games.
Also, feel free to enter the associated competition to win a curious piece of gimcrackery!

I thought we were here for the spiral shadows on the green bin. But then again, back in the glory days of the megadrive I would never have imagined it would come to this. In a way I’m kind of glad as the transition accurately reflects my changing view of the world since that time.
