EVERYONE GOES HOME WITH A CERTIFICATE
SEGA has won an award! But only for doing its JOB. And for doing its job 17 years ago. Still, it’s something to put on the wall where all those Sonic posters used to be.
Can we have a certificate? Something like “Bravely not giving up in the face of overwhelming disinterest” would do.
She’s wisely covering her name badge.

Wasn’t Virtua Cop the first 3D light gun game too? I think Stunt Car Racer beat Virtua Racing, though.

There’s a Gamers edition of the Guinness Book of Records?
Oh my word there is indeed. Some selections include:
“Longest time spent playing a MMORPG – Sara Lhadi”
“Largest collection of Pokémon memorabilia – Lisa Courtney”
“Longest survival on a 6-star wanted level on GTA IV – Henrik Lindholm”
“Most amount of tearful angry wanks in one hour playing Dead or Alive 2 – Captain Whoops”.
OK I made the last one up, I have no idea if I’m the world record holder. Can anyone beat 11?

See now that’s what I would picture as the team that would really end up in a real life version of Left-4-Dead. Bunch of misfits who wouldn’t stand more than 1.3 secs of zombie onslaught.
