A MAN WALKS INTO A BAR
It’s come to this. Anyone want to buy a games-related web site with a dwindling readership and a vast back catalogue of nonsense? £50 O.N.O.
“I saw this at a Red Robin restaurant near Chicago. I would also send you a photo of my cat but my iPhone only lets me attach one photo per email. It’s your loss. I’d send you a second email just with the cat photo, but I don’t feel like it” – Joel.

Hmmm…
First I get a ‘broken page alert’ and then when I try to post again because it didn’t work, I’m told I’m trying to make a duplicate comment.
/kicks tyres, sharp intake of breath
Think the £50 mark might be hoping a bit, Zorg

Tch.

You could put it up your bumhole. Best of both worlds.
The dwindling readership may possibly connected to the whole idea of a Sega blog in 2010 that doesn’t actually cover any Sega games.
September 23rd, 2010 on 1:02 pm
Surely that’s down to the dwindling number of Sega games being made?
They should at least acknowledge the fervent supporters by giving Zorg some freebies to talk about now and then. He deserves it just for giving us somewhere to lurk rather than the official Sega forums, surely?
September 23rd, 2010 on 1:10 pm
There are official Sega forums?! I’m off!
September 23rd, 2010 on 1:14 pm
Well, I assume so, I’ve not thought to check. See what a good job Zorg does keeping us occupied and not bothering them?

Let’s just start a war with someone. That always brings people together.

is me or one of the pull beer handlers (whatever is called)
the white one that look like a bone(?) got a penis in thereand the blue cat thingy is doing his best to get a better view of it.
also I reckon that is about time
is quite clear that the rats started to leave the sinking ship.
and they are right, i guess times changed
and now would be more romantic to have a blog about how great was the PS3 and why nobody ever bought it,
after sony fail so miserable in the hands of iphones or whatever consoles kids play nowadays
well u still have that battery club in gizmodo

I’ve said it before, but bring back Masterclass. If anything, just repost the old ones. Ooo-err!
Oh, hey, remember Seganet?

Yakuza 4 is coming out in a mere 6 months or so. that’s something to look forward to bearing in mind that I stubbornly insist that its Shenmue 6 in disguise. The only good recent sega game was shining force being re-released on the ipod for £2…. bargainnnnnnnnnnnn, why not cover shining force in excessive detail? Go on. Do it. Ring up sega and ask them why they haven’t bothered to emulate the ‘C’ button for the port…
September 23rd, 2010 on 6:29 pm
I was thinking of looping the content. Without even saying anything.
The problem with new games is I have no idea how “new” they are. Like, is Yakuza 4 new? Or has it been out in Japan for 18 months already?
I’m totally lapsed.
September 23rd, 2010 on 7:13 pm
Don’t give up. I’ve just quit my job so I’ll have more time to post pointless comments like these
September 23rd, 2010 on 7:40 pm
Yakuza 4 is new here and been out 12 years in Japan. Maybe, or 4 is old and 5 is new, or coming soon. Or cancelled.
All information gleaned from Kotaku over a morning bowl of porridge.

What is this ‘Yakuza 4’? Is it good, does it have blue skies or, as I suspect, does it involves gangs?
Also, does it require a TV to play, as I’m still shit out of luck on that front.
tbh, I just want to be able to AAA the last 6 missions on Allstars racing and then I’m done with games.
Until fallout vegas thingummy whatsit’s out anyway.

It probably has gangs, but they are Japanese, which obviously makes them interesting as everything from Japan is perfect. (Apart from their whale murdering proclivities.) It may have blue skies, can’t say I’ve ever played any of the series. TVs are usually a prerequisite for consolular gamering, yes.
I’m still waiting for Super Meat Boy (Fallout 3 was too fiddly for me), but have accidentally bought VVVVVV and Minecraft in the meantime. Well, VVVVVV was intentional, Minecraft was an impulse purchase, based on slightly more than that video of the house burning down.
VVVVVV developed in Ireland by one person who also made the free flash game Don’t Look Back which is great. Minecraft developed in Sweden by one person, called Persson. Having watched a few Bergman films it appears everyone in Sweden is called Persson, or Gunell or Gunnar. Super Meat Boy developed by 2 people in America, neither named ‘person’. I prefer games that are made by 2 people or less as you get the impression you are witnessing a vision someone had rather than the result of a meeting.

The yakuza series is also known as “the only good thing Sega are making this decade” the first game was great at the time but flawed now, the second game was amazing, the third one was good when it wasn’t forcing you to wipe the arses of annoying children for the first 5 hours of the game (imagine the first five hours of shenmue were JUST feeding the kitten and thats how interesting it was) but was worse then the second.
I just borrow a ps3 every year to play the yakuza games then give my friend his expensive paperweight back when I have finished ze game…

BRING BACK THE DREAMCAST SPIRALS. For the love of god, and all that is holy…
Or for any Dawkins-ites – for the love of math, and all that is prime…
