BLUE WISP
Can we have this printed on a t-shirt, packed lunch box and matching flask, please.
If this was five or ten years ago, we’d be working on an illustration showing the three bum holes accordingly lined up around the back.

What is it and how is it gaming related?

Is it one of those Sonic Colours blokes?

If I had to guess Socrates, I’d say it was the bum holes.

I just spent 3 minutes trying to bring the concept of the reverse shot with bum holes to life, but gave up after I realised killing myself would be a more fruitful endeavour.

too many holes

Shouldn’t it only have 2 bum holes? The exchange rate is usually 0.5 bum holes per eye, but I figure having half a hole is the same as having a hole.

That’s an excellent point, Leroy.

Well, there’s a new tagline for the site…
Sorry, but if you set up a gag as easy as that then I’m going to go for it, I can’t help it, ok?
Has anyone found out what the hell it’s meant to be or what game it’s linked to yet? I’ll admit I’ve not even bothered to google “Blue Wisp”, I’m that apathetic.

I feel that quote might be misleading Giger, as I don’t think there’s any debate to be had here. It may require some field research (and spiders pose a problem) but Leroy’s suggested ratio of 0.5 bum holes per eye feels right on the money.
As for what it is. I don’t think that really matters anymore. Although I’m starting to entertain the notion that we are in fact looking at the three bum holes, and that Zorg is setting up another elaborate Swillman style joke that may yet pay off one day (if we continue to read this site every day for the next twenty or so years).
Swillman was a joke right?

I just looked it up and it said it was a power-up from a new Sonic game. Are they still making Sonic games?

Well, I was going to reopen the quantity of bumholes debate by suggesting that maybe Zorg had used a different method to calculate the required number of bumholes.
I had developed a theory that the number of bumholes was proportional to the number of pairs of legs of a creature, counting individual legs multiple times as long as they’re part of a unique pair. So the Blue Wisp, with legs A, B and C: A + B, B + C, C + A = 3 pairs = 3 bumholes. This method also works when applied to humans.
But then I tried applying it to dogs, and found out that it would give them 6 bumholes :(

Maybe it’s not got a bumhole in-between each of those legs, but one central one where all the legs meet underneath, obscured from our view by the front leg? (Like the mouth of an octopus, that kinda thing. But without the nasty beak bit.)
That’s if it IS a front leg and not genitalia, but I suspect that’s a debate for another time.

I’m not getting involved in all this bumhole talk, but his left-most eye looks dodgy to me.
