GRAN TURISMO 5 REDEFINES CURRENT GENERATION GRAPHICAL CAPABILITIES
…with its PlayStation1 car models and Sega Saturn trees.
How is Polyphony allowed to get away with this? They should’ve taken their time, not rushed… oh. Amazing Gallery of GT5 Shame submitted by Mr P. Hardman.

And better still in Gran Turismo 4.
You couldn’t make it up.

I would normally say that those trees are terrible, but ultimately it doesn’t matter too much.
Normally. But given that visual realism is the prime selling point of this franchise, and that the racing itself is at best sub par, I think I’ll have to agree that those trees are a powerful symbol of this game’s humongous levels of failure and shame.
I still say it’s not as bad as it could have been, and nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.
Oh yeah and you forgot to mention the 2D cardboard cutout spectators from 1995. They’re important too.
