THE 2011 VIDEO GAME BAFTAS
It happened a few days ago but I couldn’t be bothered to post at the time
Various sequels won awards against a backdrop of pretentious idiots quaffing champagne.
Gemma Atkinson was there. Do people still fancy her?
Ben Kingsley and his missus turned up (surprisingly). He must’ve got muddled up and thought it was the film one instead
Iain Lee was (predictably) there
Blue were (hilariously) living up to their name
That’s your lot for another seven days!

Think the Ben Kinglsey pic will take 7 days at the very least. Maybe longer. Still, a good challenge.
Is that one of the judges from the Father Ted episode “A Song for Europe” in the background of the last picture?

Ben Kinglsey blows goat for money. I have proof.

That last Gemma photo is called “Gemma-21” – is that a deliberate tease or are there (at least) 19 more out there?

Do people still fancy her? Yes, I’d do all the things I know about to her including feeding the horse.

Looks like the dullest selection of games and ordered slightly differently in each category. I wanted to like Limbo but ended up thinking it was quite pretentious.
They have a Social Network Game category?
There simply is no pleasing me, well maybe a soapy handjob from Gemma Atkinson. With eye contact please…I must have eye contact, even if she doesn’t want to.

I’m going to wait until Wednesday before commenting. It’s early days and I don’t want to blow my load too early.
(Which actually kind of gives away what I’m going to say on Wednesday.)

Ian Lee, the poor man’s Richard Bacon.
March 19th, 2011 on 1:56 am
As long as Iain Lee keeps turning up at these things, we can assume that games aren’t so cool yet as to get rid of the celebrity flotsam and shoehorn in the A-listers to these ceremonies.
In that way – and I must emphasise that only as a corollary of the aforementioned proposition must this be inferred – Ian Lee is a welcome sight.

Iain Lee’s shot is priceless; he’s either trumping – he has the face of a trumper, there – or more likely, the other people in that shot have done what any sane person would do and chose to ignore him.

So wht we are saying is that that the presence or otherwise of Iain Lee can be used as a proxy measure for the importance of an event? Which other celebs would be used for a a sliding scale? Could we designate a name to each event? The BAFTA gane awards are at level IAIN LEE? The oscars are at level Cameron Diaz?

Gemma Atkinsom… still would.
