CRITICAL MASS: MICHAEL JACKSON’S GAME MACHINE AUCTION
At least 10 people have mailed this in over the last month. AT LEAST. So here it is. A soulless municipal public service update about Michael Jackson’s gaming memorabilia going up for auction. The full catalogue is here for the benefit of those of you who haven’t already seen it and sent us a link to it.
He either (a) knew his stuff, (b) had people that knew their stuff, or (c) had a standing order for one of everything new.
He had everything. Virtua Racing, Crazy Taxi, Dreamcasts, Mega Drive display pods, a Lara Croft statue that’s DEFINITELY been ejaculated over, pinball machines. Everything.
He even had a Saturn! $100 for a SEGA Saturn demo pod is a DEAL. The auctioneers will get a shock when this goes for $25k.
And he had Mega Touch Maxx Ruby Edition.

I think that actually makes them more appealing
I would have balked at that Saturn display pod price, but knowing that Michael Jackson’s cum soaked hands have played it makes it all the more collectable.

There are some very, very disturbing things in the second half of that catalogue. Lots of realistic, life-size statues of people, and a not-so-realistic-but-still-looks-like-it’ll-come-alive-and-kill-you life-size Shirley Temple.

not only is having the default Blogger ‘B’ shit – its also fucking up my crowded favourites toolbar which has no text, just the favicons, it cause big problems cos now you and idiottoys have same icon – and while you’re at it get those idiot toys people to make a nice favicon too :D
on the new background – im all for it in general, however I think the contrast should be reduced to emulate the shit tv’s and av connections we had ‘back then’ also maybe you should make it a ridiculous fisheye to emulate the crappy convex shape of the shit plastic TV you were forced to use for your console…

Top Skater was great though – I used to love wallriding that big coke ad, I cant actually play it anymore as my back hurts when I do haha
apparently his collection includes that G-Loc 360 degree version of Afterburner – they had that in Dundrum Bowl – that was ace beyond belief

Yea, the AR-360 – they had one at Blackpool pleasure beach for a while. £5 a pop? Wicked game.
The massive emergency stop button was a memorable feature, and it was a far superior version of g-loc as you could actually fly upside down for ages or at whatever angle you wanted. Only real problem was the short time limit imposed, but presumably you can turn that off at the ‘attendant’ stand if you own the thing. Or get your flunky (monkey) to do it for you.
