QUAKE MINUS ONE
The developers showed remarkable foresight in creating a game called “Quake Minus One” way back in 1985 for the Commodore 64. ZZap! magazine didn’t like it, though.
This update doesn’t work on any additional levels, sadly. It’s just a game called Quake Minus One we found somehow and thought was mildly interesting, due to there being a modern gaming series called “Quake.”
Found here and just stolen and resized a bit. Didn’t even bother renaming the files. Thanks, observant retro geeks.

Tch, I dunno, you’ll be doing updates on Castle Wolfenstein next.
Or, heaven forbid, Sonic Boom

This one has been “saved as draft” since February of 2008. Thought it’d be nice to give it a run out.

I used to wipe Julian Rignall’s arse with my hair. And that was still better than Quake (-1).
November 5th, 2009 on 12:19 pm
Did Julian Rignall wipe his hair in your arse at the same time? Would explain a lot.
Zorg, you’re in “teh industree”, do you know whatever happened to Julian Rignall?

I’m also waiting for the PS3 version, which will be very late and not look as good as the 360 version.

Seems to be written by 8-bit coding genius Mike Singleton also of “Lords of Midnight” fame. Probably now in an alleyway somewhere drinking meths with Matthew Smith.

I’m waiting for its Xbox 360 port, Quake Minus One Dai Ou Jou Black Label Extra, which will be absurdly buggy due to the team porting it having no idea what they’re doing. I’ll probably still pay £60 on Play Asia for it, though.

After Quake came out this game would have just been like nothing.

@Gigerpunk
According to Wikipedia, he’s part of Future Publishing US.
After working for the Bank of Ameria & Walmart of all places.
But that’s Wikipedia. Personally I believe he joined some second-rate Europe cover band and is forever stuck in the West Bromich pub circuit.
November 6th, 2009 on 11:02 am
He joined Kajagoogoo after Limahl died in that tragic hair-dryer accident.
November 6th, 2009 on 11:18 am
I thought Europe were their own second-rate cover band? Kinda like Gaye Bykers on Acid performing as their own support act ‘Lesbian Dopeheads on Mopeds’ in order to get paid twice?
And I thought although Limahl was killed in that accident his soul couldn’t rest after only 1 solo hit and he became one the undead, along with Zombie Robert Palmer?
November 9th, 2009 on 2:16 pm
Julian Rignall’s the editor of the new World Of Warcraft magazine that’s coming out soon.
November 24th, 2009 on 1:44 pm
When Limahl was killed, the rest of the band continued as just ‘Kaja’ (that part is true). Then when Boy George went solo, the rag tag fugitives from Culture Club joined Kaja and they fought on as Culturegoogoo. In the late ’80s they were pinned down by heavy machinegun fire outside a Peckham hairdressers; holding out for nearly 20 days and desparately short on water, Studio Line products and eye liner, they shot themselves rather than surrender. (that part isn’t true, I just wish it was).
And of course Limahl is undead, in a never ending stoooooo-reeeee type way.

Blimeh. Any more celebrity info and I’ll have to start stealing stuff to send in from Popbitch instead of Kotaku…
Also, I think you’ll find it’s pronounced “Stu-Stu-Stu-Studio line (create your look)”
