Nice, but no shoes. We can’t construct an elaborate but believable fantasy scenario about meeting her at a press event and things leading to other things without knowing what…

…that’s better. Black ones. Shame you can’t see the toes but at least there’s a small amount on instep on offer. She probably would’ve charged extra for showing toes. Here’s the press release as a thank you to Microsoft.

LONDON – Thursday 23 September 2010 –Xbox 360 announces today the launch of a nationwide competition, giving UK consumers the chance to experience the magic of controller-free gaming in their very own back yard. The ‘Kinect Comes To You’ competition will roll out at the end of September 2010, with members of the general public being invited to submit their reasons as to why Kinect for Xbox 360 should come to their local town, school, village, road or even backyard.

The competition mechanic is simple. Consumers need to submit their entries via the official Facebook site at http://www.facebook.com/KinectForXbox360 by 6th October 2010, encouraging friends, family and community members to get involved too by voting for their entry! The three most compelling and creative will be chosen by the ‘Kinect Comes to You’ judging panel and will see the Kinect for Xbox 360 experience brought into the heart of their local community. The judging panel comprises of singer and model Sophie Ellis Bextor; Microsoft UK & Ireland’s Director of Xbox and Entertainment, Stephen McGill; and Nick Burton, Executive Producer of Technology & Communications at Rare Studios.

Sophie Ellis Bextor comments, “I’m really excited to be announcing ‘Kinect Comes to You’, where we’re giving someone the chance to experience Kinect, before it hits the shops. Whoever wins this opportunity I’m sure, like me, will have a great time experiencing the amazing world of Kinect!” Fellow judge, Stephen McGill, also has high hopes for the competition: “This is an open invitation for people of all ages here in the UK to join the Kinect party and to be amongst the first to play the fun-filled array of new, controller-free Kinect games. I’m looking forward to reading what I anticipate will be some highly imaginative entries.” While Nick Burton from Rare Studios, adds: “Rare has been intimately involved with the Kinect story since its inception. In addition to developing the Kinect Sports title, the studio is thrilled to be involved with the Kinect Comes to You initiative. I too hope that communities throughout the UK will be quick to enter what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime Kinect experience.”
